Horsing Around: The Arizona Black Rodeo Is A Family Affair
I traveled to Phoenix, Arizona with Nissan to experience the Arizona Black Rodeo.
It was my first time attending a rodeo and the featured cowboys and cowgirls participated in a range of activities including bull dogging, calf roping, barrel racing, ladies steer undecorating and bull riding.
A community leader Honorable Michael E. Johnson and Keeylocko town owner Edward Keeylocko were both grand marshals of the rodeo.
Funnyman Avery Ford also showcased his Spanky character as comic relief during the show.
The Arizona Black Rodeo is put on by Cloves and Lanette Campbell and the annual event is definitely worth the trip to Phoenix, Arizona.
Special thanks to Nissan for inviting me to attend and check out an inside look at the Arizona Black Rodeo and meet a few of the cowboys in the video below.
