Chiwetel Ejiofor in the Director’s Chair
Quintessential actor of film, television and stage, Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years A Slave, Kinky Boots, The Inside Man), makes his directorial debut with the Netflix release, “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind,” based on the true story of William Kamkwamba. Against all the odds, a thirteen year old boy in Malawi invents an unconventional way to save his family and village from famine.
Netflix and limited theatrical release is March 1.
