Teyana Taylor is keeping busy this time of the year and isn’t stopping any time soon. She recently announced she will be a major part of Lil Baby’s upcoming tour, It’s Only Us, as the new creative director and co-producer. Taylor, founder of The Aunties Production, a production studio for creatives, shared that she and her crew will be in charge of production, choreography, musical direction, visual content, stage presence, wardrobe, and more!
She shared the news via Instagram saying “He say ‘IT’S ONLY US’ we say ‘IT’S ONLY UP from here! So let’s turn s**t up a notch!'” She also stated how the “Yes Indeed” rapper was in “good hands with one hell of a village.” The choreographer couldn’t end her post without thanking Lil Baby.
Taylor and her crew aren’t new to the creative production space. She’s worked on numerous projects with other well-known artists like Latto on her April Coachella performance back in April and Summer Walker. She also recently worked with Lola Brooke for her Hot 97 Summer Jam performance. Can you say booked and busy? This new role with Lil Baby may be one of her biggest projects yet.
Taylor is on a roll this year. She accepted the 2023 BET Award for Video Director of the Year in June and has been working non-stop doing what she is passionate about. It’s safe to say the award was well deserved and Taylor is being recognized for her hard work in the industry. In 2021, the singer and actress announced her retirement from the music industry, but she has continued to nurture her talent in other ways.
